Coffee Fellowship: 9:30 a.m.
Sunday School (all ages): 10:00 a.m.
Worship: 11:00 a.m.
PLEASE NOTE: During the summer, a planned children’s activity is held at 10:00 am. We do not hold coffee fellowship.
Our desire is to make worship accessible and meaningful to all. Therefore, we intentionally worship together in one inter-generational service. We believe that Scripture is living and active and can speak to the challenges of 21st Century living. Therefore, we worship with our feet planted in the New Testament, informed by our Brethren heritage of pursuing peace and serving others. We incorporate a variety of styles of music, including chancel choir, bell choir, children’s choir and special music. Our sermons are Biblically-based and applicable to today.
Children’s Church
Children in grades K-5 are encouraged to sit with parents in the sanctuary until time for the children’s sermon. After the children’s time, the children can attend children’s church with adult leaders for enrichment activities that help explain the main point of the story/sermon. A light snack and prayer time are included.
Nursery
Childcare with qualified caregivers is provided for both infants and preschoolers during the Sunday school and worship hour. During service, if your children prefer to sit with you, we have a small selection of activity bags, but please know that we understand they will wiggle and giggle-God made them that way! We have family-friendly seating available in the balcony as well with easy access to a changing table and nursing station.
FLOWER MINISTRY
Weekly flowers in the sanctuary are provided by those who sign up on the flower chart. We currently have a standing order with Flower Gallery. When no one is signed up, there is still a bill to be paid. If you’d like to sponsor any of those week(s), please make a payment to NCOB and designate it for flowers. Additionally, write “sponsor” in the memo area of your check or online in the message box at Continue to Give.
